October 20th, 2023 - Charles Kruger of Theatrestorm reviews The Engine of Our Disruption produced by Central Works

I like "charismatically snarky," but I absolutely love that Mike got "creepy as all get out" -- That phrase is so inexplicably amusing to me!

October 18th, 2023 - Patricia L. Morin of Theatrius reviews The Engine of Our Disruption produced by Central Works

Spot-on, baby! (And a delight!) I'm really happy people are liking this show! <3

October 18th, 2023 - Emily S. Mendel of Berkeleyside reviews The Engine of Our Disruption produced by Central Works

I perform the bro "perfectly"! This makes me very happy 'cause Chip is verrrrrrry different from me! I'm glad it's convincing.

October 17th, 2023 - Jean Schiffman of SF Gate reviews The Engine of Our Disruption produced by Central Works

I am implacable and smirky! Forgive me for being excited, but this is the first time I've gotten an adjective since BEFORE the pandemic...!!

March 7th, 2023 - Alex Savidge of KTVU does a segment on Erin Merritt and Tea Party produced by One of Our Own

Another news clip! This time, with actual rehearsal footage! Fun times!

March 5th, 2023 - Patrick Thomas of Talkin' Broadway reviews Tea Party produced by One of Our Own

This one doesn't mention me at all, but you know what? This one was such a different process compared to the usual gig and I want to remember it.

March 2nd, 2023 - Juliette Goodrich of CBS does a segment on Erin Merritt and Tea Party produced by One of Our Own

It's not every day that the show you're working on gets featured in the news! CBS news comes by to interview Erin and watch us rehearse! There's been lots of articles on the process, but being in the news feels so... I dunno, validating? The process hasn't always been smooth, but it has always been filled with humor.

July 29th, 2022 - Lily Janiak of the San Francisco Chronicle reviews Dream Hou$e produced by Shotgun Players

I mean, it doesn't mention anything specific that I do, but like, this show was hard and we were all surprised she liked it for, ya know, reasons. So yay!

July 26th, 2022 - Emily S. Mendel of Berkeleyside reviews Dream Hou$e produced by Shotgun Players

This one doesn't mention the crew characters at all, but like... dang, she was affected. This was the first review that came out, and we were so happy!

(INSERT PANDEMIC HERE... sigh.)

There was one project during these early days that's worth mentioning and that's Town Hall Theatre's fundraiser: FantasticLand! No reviews, but...

Here's an article (February 119th, 20201) by A.A. Cristi of Broadway World)

January 28th, 2020 - Jim Gladstone of the Bay Area Reporter reviews How to Transcend a Happy Marriage produced by Custom Made Theatre Co.

An unpredictably halting deadpan AND joint perfect comic timing with Nick? Yaaasss. I like this review. <3

January 25th, 2020 - Robert M. Gardner of Theatrius reviews How to Transcend a Happy Marriage produced by Custom Made Theatre Co.

We all got different adjectives; Mine was "spacy." Ha! I actually like it.

January 25th, 2020 - Steve Murray of Broadway World reviews How to Transcend a Happy Marriage produced by Custom Made Theatre Co.

Freddie's the first character like this that I've ever had to play... Now I know what to call this: the quiet drifter type!

January 23rd, 2020 - Krista Pearl McAtee of Theatrius reviews How to Transcend a Happy Marriage produced by Custom Made Theatre Co.

I honestly just really like the look I'm giving Karen, Nick, and his triangle in the picture they used.

January 20th, 2020 - Lily Janiak of the San Francisco Chronicle reviews How to Transcend a Happy Marriage produced by Custom Made Theatre Co.

We got the leaping man! We got the leaping man! We were all so excited when we found out!

January 19th, 2020 - Eddie Reynolds of Theatre Eddys reviews How to Transcend a Happy Marriage produced by Custom Made Theatre Co.

It's hard to see monotone and think it's positive, but I was going for deadpan and kinda high, so I'll take it!

January 2020 - Patrick Thomas of Talkin Broadway reviews How to Transcend a Happy Marriage produced by Custom Made Theatre Co.

Okay, this reviewer didn't like the show. But I'm putting this review up because he mentioned I played Freddie to the point of "couchlock movement" and I'm like "Is that a criticism...?" So I looked it up and I'm quite proud. Yes, Freddie is stoned. I've never done/smoked cannabis, so I'm quite proud I acted it. ^.^
